Just in time for the holidays, I bought myself a Christmas gift - advertising for my Etsy shop! Go listen to my ad at www.decoderringtheater.com - Black Jack Justice #19 and the ad comes in at about 29 minutes or so :) Happy holidays!
Greetings from Buffalo, New York!!! I know that I have been remiss about posting lately, but I feel like I've had a rocket up my butt :) I have run my Etsy business, helped manage David's career, held down a full time job AND traveled to some of David's more "exotic" locales ;) Since mid-July, we have been to the Cape for 2 weekends, camping in the Berkshires for a weekend, and this weekend we are in Buffalo. I have never been to Niagra Falls or Canada before! :D Last night, after watching Big Love (which I caught the night before, but David missed), we walked along the "runway" (that's what I called the rapids) that leads up to the American Falls... Words cannot describe just how awe inspiring and breath taking the fast moving and probably lethal water was! Eddies and undertows and huge waves! And then there were these little islands in the middle that were so peaceful and pretty.... And that's all before I even SAW the falls! :D (There is something about vacation that turns me into a 12 year old, all full of questions and my eyes popping open at 8 am, no matter how late I was up the night before *g*) The falls are amazing and spectacular and all lit up.... The mist was all over the place. And then the power that the water had when it went over the falls... Completely rivaled the power that it had just leading up to the falls... I should probably pick up a camera... Today we go on "The Maid of the Mist", just like in Bruce Almighty. Why? Because we are COMPLETE goobers :D And we love it :D And we'll go spelunking in those caves behind the falls! *squee*
I have *the* most adorable, thoughtful and caring man in the whole entire world! :) He just showed up at my job with pastries from our favorite bakery, just so he could spend a little more time with me this morning :). After the past 2 weeks of absolute insanity, it was nice to be able to share a cup of coffee :D I am the luckiest and most loved woman in the world, without a doubt!
2 weekends ago, David wanted to go to a "tool show"... Now, being a girl and hearing the words "tool show", my eyes glazed over... I agreed to go along because David has been kind enough to uncomplainingly go to my crafty things... Oddly enough, the "tool show" is at a great store that turns out to be like Big Lots, so there is something for me to do, too :) The store is doing a drawing for a floor jack. Being a doofus, I decide to enter David and I, for sh&ts and giggles, really. Last Friday I got a call from the store. I won the freakin' floor jack :) I am putting it on Ebay (what am *I* going to do with a floor jack, please?)... So, if you need a floor jack, lemme know. We can play let's make a deal :)
I have started a traveling notebook sign up on 1001 Journals (Sign up here!), but the limit for participants is 10. Another 10 people can be added, but only after the first 10 participants have had the journal and passed it on. Keeping that in mind, I think that the best thing to do is to have everyone that is interested send me their real name and address to get added to the list.... So, please email me (you'll find my email address in my user info *g*) if you are interested in this project and we'll go from there.
Hey there, guys... I had this Party Lite thing (because a friend of ours said that she wanted to sell Party Lite, then decided not to, but I still had to have the party) and we only made about $100 in sales (which is *terrible*)... If you want to see the catalogue and possibly buy something, email me to get a link to the catalogue (I have to email an invite and then you have to say that you can't make it and THEN you get the link...). Thanks! ;)
